you need to make your home,

home again.

On October 10, 2018, Hurricane Michael ripped through the Panhandle of Florida, leaving behind tremendous devastation and destruction. Mohammad Sherif and Mohammad Mubarak have deep ties to the community. Mr. Mubarak was born and raised in Panama City, FL.  To this day, Mr. Mubarak refers to Panama City as home, and it will always hold a special place in his heart. Mr. Sherif's wife, family and friends are also from Panama City, FL. After the devastation of Hurricane Michael, Mr. Sherif and Mr. Mubarak began informally advising family and friends from the area regarding the insurance claims process.  However, in order to better serve the needs of Hurricane Michael victims, Mr. Sherif and Mr. Mubarak partnered together to start a law firm that will advocate on their behalf during their time of need. Together, we have nearly two decades of legal experience, and we specialize in property insurance cases.  Read our bios below to see why we are the right choice to be your advocate.

A native of Gainesville, FL, Mohammad Sherif attended the University of Florida and graduated from the College of Journalism in 2003. After practicing briefly as a journalist, Mr. Sherif attended the Florida State College of Law where he obtained his law degree in 2007.

Mohammad Sherif began his legal career working as a Regulatory Attorney and as a Senior Litigation Attorney for the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation ("OIR") in Tallahassee. While working at the OIR Mr. Sherif received an award from the Insurance Commissioner commemorating his successful litigation achievements on behalf of the State of Florida. Additionally, Mr. Sherif gained extensive experience in regulatory matters and litigation issues involving Florida licensed insurance companies.

In 2010, Mr. Sherif moved back to his hometown and worked as an in-house counsel for Nationwide Insurance. Mr. Sherif's practice focused heavily on residential and commercial property claims coverage matters, litigation strategies and enterprise risk management.

Mr. Sherif left Nationwide in 2012 to become General Counsel and Secretary for insurance companies domiciled in Florida and New York. As General Counsel, Mr. Sherif coordinated the litigation defense for both companies, advised on regulatory matters, developed products and forms, and conducted in-house trainings to company adjusters and underwriters.

Mr. Sherif's extensive insurance experience provides salient insight to understanding the operations of an insurance company, which provides Mr. Sherif the ability to better advocate on your behalf.

Mohammad Mubarak was born and raised in Panama City, FL.  After graduating with an Associates Degree from Gulf Coast Community College, Mr. Mubarak attended the University of Florida graduating with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Political Science. Mr. Mubarak then continued his education at the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law graduating with a Juris Doctorate in 2011.

After law school, Mohammad Mubarak had the privilege of serving the people of the State of Florida as an Assistant State Attorney for the 13th Judicial Circuit. During his years of service at the State Attorney’s Office, Mr. Mubarak was promoted several times ultimately serving as a senior line attorney in a felony division. Mr. Mubarak managed a case load of over 200 felony cases with charges ranging from drug offenses to violent forcible felonies. Mr. Mubarak handled thousands of cases, argued hundreds of motions, and tried nearly 40 jury trials with a conviction rate of over 70 percent.

After his years of service, Mr. Mubarak left the State Attorney's Office and took a job as an Associate Attorney at a national law firm, and one of the preeminent insurance defense firms in the South-Eastern United States.  Because of his legal background, Mr. Mubarak was placed in a specialized litigation department. Mr. Mubarak's hard work and legal prowess, led to him being named a "rising star," within just the first year of employment.  Mr. Mubarak provided coverage analysis to several insurance companies, conducted countless depositions and examinations under oath, drafted and argued hundreds of motions, and represented insurance companies at trial.  This practice allowed Mr. Mubarak to hone his litigation skills, and gain extensive and invaluable knowledge regarding the defense of a property insurance claim. This experience and acumen makes Mr. Mubarak a tough legal adversary, and well-suited to advocate on your behalf.
